Treaclemoon Marshmallow Hearts Review *

I was recently contacted by treaclemoon and jumped at the chance to try one of their products. I have used Coconut Island Bath and Shower Gel along with the body cream in the past and just loved it.

I was given the chance to choose which flavour, as I like to call it, I could review and asked for Marshmallow Hearts.

When it arrived, I had completely forgotten about it coming, always a nice surprise when you have an unexpected package. When I opened the box up the bottle was carefully wrapped in pink tissue paper along with some #beyou merchandise and a little note from the treaclemoon team.

I instantly had to give it a sniff and it smelt so sweet I almost wanted to eat it, even Harley's nose was twitching and tried to lick the bottle.

So the next morning I had to try it out, as with the previous products I have tried, it foamed up pretty much straight away and a little really does go a long way. The smell is just sublime and I could still smell it once I had dried off, my skin was lovely and smooth too.

The full size bottle retails for around £3, which from what I know of the brand is pretty good and it will last you a good few months.

Treaclemoon are a cruelty free brand and have an ongoing project with Bulliesout to eliminate cyber bullying and bullying in general.

All in all I cannot recommend this brand enough and their excellent customer service.

My Little Box February 2016 Home Edition

So I am new to these subscription boxes, and am loving them! So one morning before getting up, as we all do, I was scrolling on Facebook and came across My Little Box

I looked at loads of different reviews on line and thought I have to give this a go.

What do you get in each box?

- Must-have beauty products (including one from their own in-house beauty range, My Little Beauty)
- Fashion and lifestyle accessories
- Our magazine (My Little World)
- Illustrated goodies by Kanako
- And other surprises…

It costs £11 for the box and £3.95 for P&P, which I don't think is too bad for what you get and considering it comes from Paris!  They promise that you will receive your box between the first and third week of the month.

Each month there is a different theme, so it is constantly a surprise.

I was so excited when mine arrived and couldn't wait to do a review. The box is so Gorgeous and is quite thick so in my opinion good quality. When I first opened it I was greeted with this gorgeous photo frame, it is such a lovely blue colour.

When I turned it over I was surprised by the weight and loved this cute little bag, which from what I can tell you get in every box. It also had a magazine and little cards which detailed the cost of each product.

The gorgeous photo frame came with a double sided card insert, I love the other side and have it sitting on my TV cabinet. The frame retails at £6.00.

The second lifestyle accessory in this months box was a lovely double sided cushion cover, the material is really thick and the design is one that would easily fit any home. This cover retailer at £10.00.

Both the frame and cushion are available on www.mylittlecorner.fr

Next up is the My Little Beauty product, a skin perfecting cream to be used in the morning on it's own or under make-up. I usually have to be very careful about what I put on my skin as it can react very easily, however this cream didn't cause me to breakout at all. It feels really silky when applied and has a very subtle glisten to it. I have been using it every morning before applying primer and it seems to have helped my make-up stay on for longer and does feel very moisturising. This is called Easy Morning and retails at £10.00, which again I don't think is too bad for a 75ml sized tube.

The second beauty product is a luxurious hand cream by Polaar, retailing at £16.00. This cream has genuine ingredients from lapland, it's non-greasy and highly moisturising. It's rich in antioxidant arctic berries and my hands feel instantly replenished and soothed.

The final beauty product is a luxury sample of Noxidoxi Mask & Peel facial mask and scrub. Full size is about £20.85, I had to do a little research to find out how to use this as the description was in french. They recommend using this only at night, either as a scrub or mask. If using as a mask, apply to damp skin and leave for 3 minutes, perfect timing for brushing your teeth. I really liked the feel of my skin after using it as a mask and could defiantly feel a difference in the morning.

The little magazine is such a great little extra, it has some beauty secrets as well as a themed do it yourself section. I am defiantly sold on this monthly subscription and cannot wait to see whats in next months box. I will also be buying a 3 months subscription for my Mums Birthday gift.

If you would like to subscribe, you can get he first box for just £11.00 with this code FIRSTBOX, head over to their subscription page

My New Fringe

Hey have you seen my new do? I am on a quest to grow my hair and as you may be aware I can be so indisive and I was starting to get bored so whilst I was sifting through old pics of my bobs, I came across my old fringe.

As I am trying to grow my hair my hairdresser has sworn to not let me cut my hair short, so we had a compromise of a new style with a fringe.

So here it is thank you again Karen for you amazing skills.

Even though I do have to style it everyday, I love it and I guess even though I am steering away from heat too much it doesn't matter too much on my fringe as I don't want to grow that. It has also made me feel a lot more confident about having my hair up, as I have hair over my face.

It also looks great under a hat too.

I hope you like it as much as me, what are you doing with your hair? If you're in Norwich check Karen out.

Moodstruck 3D Younique Lashes

I haven’t really heard about this brand before, not until my friend Rosalyn became a representative for them. They boast about the fact that they are vegan, cruel free and have completely natural ingredients in all their beauty product. Not many products these days are completely cruelty and vegan free.

I have to say that I was a little bit sceptical about this product, especially when the pictures I found of some girls using it had spidery lashes, if that makes sense?  They were kind of clumpy and not very sleek at all.

The mascara retails at £23.00 which I don't think is too bad for a high end mascara, the packaging is really cute as well and you get a little pouch for them too.

The pack comes with Transparent Black Gel with your normal mascara applicator, this you put on first. Unlike most mascaras you should concentrate on one eye at a time.

Next you apply the 3D Fibres, this is best done very carefully as this is the stage where you can get the clumpy spidery look. You then seal it with the Gel and voila you a have false eyelash look.

I really do love this mascara and my lashes look so much longer and fuller with the Younique 3D Lashes.

They are super easy to remove as well, I really thought it was going to be a struggle but normal make-up remover works.

This is me without the mascara, I do still apply my eyeliner beforehand.

Here you can see the final look, I LOVE it!!!!

If you are interested in trying this mascara out, then you can get in touch with my friend Rosalyn here. What's great is that Younique have a 14 day money back guarantee.

Things you should know before committing to a Dog

As you all most likely know I have a dog and she is my entire world and I wouldn't change it, but I didn't get her on my own terms as you may have read in my Dealing with an Abusive Partner Post.

I was actually fully against getting a dog until I was retired or something like that, but was forced into getting her and through the hard times have created a very special bond with her. Getting Harley has definitely converted me into a dog person.

I am going to go through my experience with Harley and pick out points that I think people should know before getting a dog, although Harley has turned out to be a lovely kind caring gentle dog, with a mental side, not all dogs will turn out like that no matter how you bring them up. I guess that is one of the biggest things to consider.

Even though at the beginning I was not single, I was in no way supported with training or bringing Harley up and was what I like to call a single parent. If you're an animal lover like me then you will surely agree that you become your pets parent.

So onto what you should consider before you commit yourself to a dog becuase they really are not just for Christmas guys! Dogs are just like children and in some ways are much worse. They will never become independent, therefore are solely dependant on you, unlike children as they grow and get older this will never change.

Singleton on Valentines Day

I have been scrolling through anti-valentines images and Happy Singles Awareness Day and I cant help but laugh, the quotes are just brilliant! I mean why should it be a bad thing that you're single on one day in February? It shouldn't however the media and stigma nowadays makes you think that it should be, well I say embrace it!

So once again I am alone for Valentines Day, am I bothered, not really I have Harley, my dog. So I thought I would do a post on what you (what I will be doing) can do if you're single on Valentines Day. To some reading this they may think, "that doesn't sound like fun", well this is just what I enjoy.

If you are lucky enough you may even have a group of friends that are single, you could do a big girls night in or out. Unfortunately for me many of my friends are either married or in relationships.

This year it falls on a Sunday, how inconvenient, this restricts what you can do in some respect, unless you can stay up until the wee hours in the morning. So I will be starting mine on Saturday evening, as I am sure most people will do.

So I will probably have a movie/ pamper night, haven't watch Twilight or The Little Mermaid in a while. Face masks are a must with pamper nights along with nail polish, might spend some time using my MoYou Kits. I won't just pamper myself, I will give Harley a little pamper and but her nails etc. (meany) but no painting, I think people that do that to their dogs are just warped. My other option would be to go to the cinema alone, something I have never done before, but I really want to see Deadpool... so we shall see how i feel Saturday evening.

I plan to spend ALL day with Harley, which I try to do as much as possible anyway, but on this particular day I think I will take her out for a walk down the beach. Hopefully the weather is poor, that way not many people will be out and I can run up and down with her looking mental without the fear of someone calling a psychiatric ward. I will also probably bring my Nan with me, as she won't have any plans with anyone.

When we get back from the beach, I think me and Harley will have a cuddle on the sofa chilling watching another Disney Movie and catching up on Netflix. Netflix is your bestfriend!!!

You don't have to have a Dog to go for a walk somewhere, just get yourself out there and enjoy the fresh air, it is unbelievably therapeutic, if you can't stand the thought of walking on your own, find other single friends to go with or family members without loved ones.

Just pamper yourself and chill, it's just another day and simply means that there is half price chocolates and sweets on the 15th! Result!!

What are your plans this valentines?

January Lookback

I can't believe it is February already! It is true what they say as you get older time disappears.

January has been a bit of an odd one for me, with some ups and downs, I am kind of thankful it is over and am looking forward to this month even though I am now single again.

Christening
At the very beginning of the month I officially became Tudor Jasper Doyle's Godmother, along with 8 others, he is a very lucky little boy. It was such a lovely ceremony and all went off without a hitch. I am going to take my Godmother/ Aunty duties very seriously.

Romance
As you have already gathered I am once again a single pringle, and I am okay with that. Myself and Tye ended on good terms and are still going to stay friends, of course I am sad that it didn't work out but everything happens for a reason.

I am going to try this new thing, called chuck it in the fuck it bucket and move on. Basically I'm going to try and just have fun and let things just happen; of course I still want a romantic ending with true love but it won't happen if you keep looking for it.

In all honesty I would love a love story like my Nan and Grandad, they stayed faithful and together for over 50 years and even though he has passed, my Nan still feels married to him. Things were much more different in those days I suppose, but what's wrong with me wanting that kind of relationship? I am done settling for 2nd best and wasters, if it ends up always being me and Harley so be it.

Goodies
Well I was really impressed with this months Glossybox, which I will post about shortly... watch this space. I mean they actually had a decent lipstick for once!

I have also signed up to My Little Box which I think looks really cool, so am looking forward to receiving that sometime in Feb. You get some beauty products as well as the latest trends/ fashion items and a little magazine, its a similar cost to Glossybox too.

I finally spent some of my Birthday/ Christmas money and got myself a locket necklace from Pia that I have had my eye on for a few years as well as a new ring.

Mac have also released a new range of matte lipglosses, which I had to try out and absolutely love!!!

Entertainment
So as you may already know I am a bit of a TV junkie and this month has been pretty good for TV.

Shadowhunters has officially hit the UK on Netflix and is awesome, although it does not follow the Mortal Instruments Books exactly, the show is much better than the film they released.

Pretty Little Liars has come back, 5 years forward and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

On top of that we have had an explosive Celebrity Big Brother, have you been watching it?

That's it really, told you it feels like an uneventful month, however February is looking much better, I mean Deadpool is out!!!! Eeeek!!! Owh and Walking Dead comes back, whoop!

Always be kind, you never know what personal battle people are fighting.
