Naturigin Hair Dye*

When Naturigin contacted me to try out their hair dye, I couldn't say no, especially with my early grey hairs peeping through. Being mostly natural I thought it would be ok considering I am trying to grow my hair and when you're doing that colouring is a big no no.

TreatBox September 2016

I had planned to cancel this box, due to the fact that I cannot afford to have 3 subscription boxes running, however I was one of the lucky winners to receive an extra item in this months box. So thought it was worth while to get this months box, boy was I disappointed.

This months box is based on taking care of yourself. As you can see above the selection isn't great and the free gift was pretty naf, although pretty. It will bring me up in a rash as I allergic to fake jewellery. The only thing that actually got me excited were the prints and extra calendar print, which will be featured in upcoming boxes. Here is the free gift, a bumble bee necklace....

I will start with the good, the prints. I do love a good slogan and anything that can keep me organised, well try too. The main print says "Almost everything will  work again, If you unplug it for a few minutes, Including you" and a small one saying "Just one more page", which I have seen been used as a bookmark.

A set of four tea lights, which are lightly scented. Great for when you want to take a long soak in the bath or if you have a wax melt.

Pedicure nail set, in a cute white and gold dots. This will be gifted to someone as I already have a pedicure set from my previous My Little Box.

I am not a massive fan of flavoured teas, however did give this a try for the purpose of this post.

This is probably the second best item in the box, a Charcoal Masque. This mask works wonders on the skin and defiantly leaves you feeling very pampered.

This adult colouring set is pretty standard, with cute designs inside the book. I did think it was a nice touch for TreatBox to provide us with watercolour pencils.

Overall this months box leaves little to be desired and I am sad to say I will be sticking to not renewing my subscription, mainly due to the money aspect of it.

Pure Chimp Matcha Green Tea*

In an effort to be more healthy, green tea is one that most people go for. It is known for it's anti-oxidant properties and to help boost metabolism.

This green tea is in powder form, finely ground down from 100% matcha green tea leaves. It is slightly different from normal green tea in that they cover the leaves for last two weeks of their life, prior to picking; this is supposed to retain extra goodness.

Eden's Semilla Vitamin C Serum & Hyaluronic Acid Serum*

I was once again given further opportunity for work with Eden's Semilla, and was happy to try out these two facial serums. 25% Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

Now I will be perfectly honest the title ACID doesn't really spring to mind pleasant thoughts, I mean am I being silly but doesn't that scream ouch! That set aside, they wouldn't be able to sell anything that would actually harm you and even provide a 100% money back guarantee if you're not happy with the results. Both serums are made from 100% organic products, making them vegan-friendly and free from nasty chemicals like sulfates.

25% Vitamin C Serum, R.R.P £10.95 for 15ml. This is an anti-aging serum, which contains Vitamin C, Hyaluronic acts, Retinol, Vitamin E and Rosehip & Jojoba Oil.

This serum boasts that it is able to promote the skin's natural defenses, replace lost moisture and reduce the signs of fine lines & wrinkles. Giving skin a firmer, softer, healthier look.

I cannot comment complete on the wrinkled side of things, however, I do have fine smile lines around my mouth and mega baggage under my eyes.

I know that many brands use Vitamin C for a waking up type of product, so it is no surprise that this is the potent factor in this serum. Vitamin C is known for its antioxidant properties, particularly when it comes to action against premature aging.

Hyaluronic Acid, agh that word again, is one I have not heard of before, however, it is something our skin produces naturally when it wants to keep hold of much-needed moisture. Perfect for the moisturising parts of this serum.

Retinol again sounds like a scary word, but this is worded as a superstar ingredient that targets the fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant also known to help reduce puffiness and is an easily absorbed moisturiser.

Rosehip Oil is something I often keep in my bedside table for when my skin needs a little extra moisture, and Jojoba Oil I have reviewed previously and found worked well for all over the body. These two combined create a perfect nongreasy formula, perfect for sensitive skin. These are known to help treat and keep at bay acne, dry and irritated skin; as well as help reduce the signs of aging and skin imperfections such as stretch marks.

I gave this one to my mum to try as it seemed to be the one aimed more towards already aged skin, sorry mum. Here's what she thought, "it is lovely and makes my skin feel smooth and soft. It resolves into the skin without leaving a greasy film." Perfect words, I couldn't agree more.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum, R.R.P £10.95 for 15ml. This is again anther anti-acing product which doubles as a moisturiser.

As above the hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturiser, however as we age so does our bodies ability to keep up with the high demands of life and thus reducing the amount of acid our body actually produces, hence the need to add a little extra into our routine.
This serum is again infused with Retinol and Vitamin C & E, as well as a blend of Aleo Vera and Shea Butter. With much the same ingredients as the serum above this differs pure with the last two ingredients.

Aleo Vera is well known for it's soothing and healing properties, combined with Sea Butter, this duo are a power moisturiser. They work together to provide all-around protection and to help aid your skins hydration process.

When I first used this I was surprised at how thick the serum was when it came out of the droplet, however, when you actually apply it to your skin it becomes very watery and absorbs almost instantly.

I have been using this for about a week now and have not had any breakouts, my skin feels smoother and my few fine lines appear reduced.

* I received these serums from Eden's Semilla for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback, all my views and opinions are my own and have not been influenced in any way. Please see my Disclaimer for more information.

The Konjac Charcol & Dog Sponge*

I was asked to review The Konjac Sponge Companies Charcoal Facial sponge, along side a sponge for you Dog. I must admit that this took me a little by surprise in that they do sponges for dogs, however I think it's a wonderful idea and fantastic for me to treat Harley to a little pampering too.

Neals Yard Remedies to Roll, Energy & Night Time

After struggling with sleep and staying awake at work and popping caffeine pills left, right and centre; I thought I would give these a try. I have heard great things about these from fellow blogger Christie and they really work for her, so what harm would it do to try a natural remedy for my sleep depravation.
