I was recently given the opportunity to try out Etched Drinks service, and because I do not drink alcohol I chose to gift them to my Step-dad.
I first looked at which drink he would like best and settled for beer, Stewart Hollywood Pale Ale to be exact. The description of this Ale looked rather nice, with a full citrus aroma it is light in body, with moderate bitterness and tangy grapefruit flavours. Made with American Amarillo Hop, this particular Ale has been crowned with the World's Best Beer Gold Medal 2 years running for Best Pale Ale.
There are many varieties of alcohol available such as Gin, Whiskey, Cocktails and Vodka.
The service is fairly simple to use, you just chose the drink you want and then can choose from a range of labels or upload your own design.
You can modify the templates to suit your own personalisation requirement's
I chose to upload my own design. Which was so easy and simple to do.
They arrived quickly and safely, please note you have to sign for them. I was so pleased with the final product, with the label being such great quality and would recommend this service to anyone planning a bog event or simply looking for a great personalised gift.
My Step-dad was really pleased with them and my chosen label really struck him. He said that the beer wasn't too bitter with a citrusy accent to it, they went down easily and when poured have a nice cloudy look. Not typical for ales, I am told.
The only thing I would change about the Etched Drinks service, is the availability to buy a smaller amount of drink, the minimum sized pack for beer is 24, which comes to £80. If you're thinking of just a personalised gift to someone for their birthday perhaps, you wouldn't want to buy that many unless it's for a party.
