I usually use Shea Moisture on my hair, so when I was looking to get some more I came across this new brand. The main thing that attracted to me to Maui Moisture was the fact that this brand was free from a lot of bad additives, like Shea Moisture.
Maui Moisture are an eco-friendly company, that was inspired by handpicked/ handcrafted ingredients that can be found on tropical islands such as Maui. Most Shampoo & Conditioners primary ingredient is deionized, chemically treated water. Unlike Maui Moisture products, which always start with a unique blend of aloe vera and coconut water.
Maui Moisture products are free of the following:
- Gluten,
- Silicones,
- Sulfates,
- Parabens,
- Mineral Oils,
- Dyes and
- SLS.
Maui Nourish & Moisture Coconut Milk is designed for those with dry and damaged hair. The weightless coconut milk infuses the light and creamy shampoo/ conditioner along with sheer guava oil and mango butter, to break away dirt and oil and leave hair healthy, moisturised and shining.
These used together don't build up in your hair and truly leave your hair feeling and looking like a million dollars, I find that I can leave it a few days between washing my hair again with these products. Making the cost of these justifiable.
The Shampoo and Conditioner retail for £8.99 each. Which is cheaper than Shea Moisture, however you do get slightly less product, but for something that is not going to damage your hair with nasty additives, wouldn't you much rather pay a little more?
