Norwich Bloggers Event July 2016*

The lovely ladies behind the Norwich Bloggers, set up an event at The Mash & Tun in Norwich on Sunday 9th July. It was a great chance for bloggers to meet each other and collaborate with local businesses. We saw the likes of Benefit, Jarrold's, Lisa Angel, Exposed, Arbonne, The Curl Company, White Rabbit Gifts, Neals Yard Remedies Massage Therapist & Milk and Moss Coffee.

There was a chance to have a hand massage by the lovely Nina from Neals Yard Remedies and you could even have Gel Nail's done by one of the faces of Norwich Bloggers, Courtney.

On entry we received a gorgeous Gluten Free & Vegan friendly Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcake, we also received a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Neals Yard Remedies Pamper Hamper.

There was not as much to see as I thought there would be, nevertheless we still got lots of free goodies.

We all had a choice of some free jewellery from Lisa Angel, I chose this gorgeous silver bar necklace which retails for £29.00. It is silver plated and nickel free, perfect for me. You can have it personalised, however I loved the writing on this one so just went with that. You can get 10% off any purchase from Lisa Angel using the code LANWCH15.

We all got a lovely goodie bag from Exposed which included a make-up brush of some kind, nail polish, false eyelashes, eyelash glue and an eyebrow pencil. Although I won't be using the false eyelashes I can give them to a good home, in the form of my best friend Suzanne. I managed to get my hands on a lovely eyeshadow brush, after swapping it two times.

Benefit offered everyone a gorgeous passport holder and a sample of their own lollifit lip & cheek tint. I think the colour is a little too baby pink for me, so will be intrigued to see how it goes onto my skin.

Jarrold's offered a bowl full of samples, so I grabbed a Clinique mascara, Estee Laude Double Wear Foundation sachet and a few perfume samples. The perfume sample have a little spray top to them which is so much better than some of the samples I have had in the past.

We also received a great full sized product from The Curl Company. The Curl Company Enhance & Perfect Curl Cream, R.R.P £7.99.

The cream contains a unique blend of morgina oil and meadow foam seed oil. It boosts de-frizzing qualities and helps with taming hair against humidity. Although this cream is used for curls it can be used on straight hair too. I didn't find it to be too greasy or heavy and found it really did help massively with frizz. I honestly think that my hair retained it's straightness a lot better with this product than without.

When it was time for the raffle prize, I rummaged through my bag for my ticket and almost gave up but am so happy I didn't because I won!!! When I was rummaging through loads of the girls were shouting she's gone home, but my best friend Christie from Christie's Lifestyle called back that some girls were still looking for their tickets. I won a gorgeous hamper from Neals Yard Remedies worth over £130.00.

Overall I had a lovely day and was really pleased to have spent some much needed time with Christie. I also meet some really beautiful ladies and fellow bloggers, check them out:

Hannah Pye from The Life of Pye
Laura Stafford-Smith from Laura Stafford Smith
Emma from Crafty Clyde
