Prestige Flowers Perfect for Valentines Day*

It is always nice to receive flowers, even to just review. Prestige Flowers were lovely enough to send me a bouquet from their Valentines range, this particular bouquet is called J'adore.

The arrangement is composed of  romantic roses, luscious tulips and red berries with forest fresh greens. Roses couldn't be more perfect for some at valentines and with the inclusion of the red tulips it really does give a very loving and passionate feel.

The team were kind enough to send the flowers on a Saturday, when I would be home, which is a great example of their customer service. When the flowers arrived they came in a sturdy box, however when I opened them up I was a little disappointed. The roses weren't fresh at all, they had that kind of dried burnt look and the berries look very tired too, as you can see from the image below. The Tulips however hadn't bloomed yet and therefore looked very fresh. From the image above you can see them blossoming quite nicely.

The J'adore bouquet starts from £22.00 for a small bouquet to £32.00 for a large bouquet. They have also included a free box of handmade truffles, because who doesn't want chocolate on valentines day.

If you are after a gorgeous flower company to send your loved one a special reminder of how much you care, then be sure to check out Prestige Flowers, for great value and service.

I love receiving flowers and they are such great tools for blog photo props, I cannot wait to use these in some photos. I don't know if I would use this service personally, purely due to the non-quality of the roses and berries.

* I received these flowers from Prestige Flowers for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback, all my views and opinions are my own and have not been influenced in anyway. Please see my Disclaimer for more information.

Remove the Hassle with Bidvine*

It can be daunting looking for help or for a reliable and competent person to do what you want. I know I have always gone by word of mouth or just stuck to the people I know do a good job, whilst that can work it can also be very frustrating when you get a referral for someone and they just turn out to be naff.

With the internet these days it is so easy to get lost and not really get the best resolution for your requirements. It can be so frustrating trying to find what you're looking for, I know as an adult who has moved out on my own for the first time, it has become abundantly apparent that I am going to have to do things for myself. I can understand why people just hire the first person they find on the internet.

My Little Box January 2017 Fresh Start Edition

With the start of a new year, My Little Box are having a fresh start themselves. This month they have opted for a bag over a box and have gotten rid of the My Little World magazine. Whilst the box will be back next month, the magazine won't and for that I am a little sad; however it will be exciting to see what they do instead. In place of the magazine this month they gave us some inspiration cards, each one with a different idea on how you can have a fresh start this year.

I love this subscription box and this month we received a Timeless Planner, which is more of a journal than a planner. It has weekly entries, so you don't have to write everyday, you could just wrote little notes. It also have to do lists and notes pages etc. I think it is such a great idea and would be good to look back on next year.

Let's Be Positive this Year!

Not everyone had a good year last year, me being one. So I thought I would do a post to help you get positive, try and give these points ago and see where it leads you.

Find an App to help be you personal assistant or just use your phone's calendar or interactive person, or what ever it's called. Like Siri or similar.

Read, you need to have some down time to yourself and you'd be surprised how at ease you are after a good book. Researchers say that just 6 minutes of reading can reduce stress levels by 68%, it can also help you sleep if you read before bed.

Write a secret note. If you're single then just write yourself a happy thought or something good that happened that day, even a pick me up note to yourself. If you're in a relationship, leave that special someone a love note saying something you love about them.

Go somewhere happy, like a happy cafe or bar. Popping somewhere happy can give you the pick me up you need.

Change up your mindset, don't go for something mediocre with your goals. Go for something special to you like little things, reading more or try to wear less make-up. Change the way you view your goals, look back at old photos and pick 3 great pics. When you look back think about the way they made you feel and then when you post something new write a goal in the present tense, such as I have lost a few pounds or I have achieved a milestone to my promotion.

Use Emojis more. sending someone a happy emoji or a laughing one will make you feel better and them too.

Sign up to that petition. If you feel strongly for something, go for it and help it out. If we all stick to this mind set that someone else will do it then we will never get anywhere in life.

Find quotes you relate too. When you are feeling lost or low read that quote, it will make you feel empowered.

Try laughter yoga, yes it is a real thing. Laughing can really reduce stress and a good laughing fit is good all round.

Stop comparing. Don't compare yourself to others or other peoples situation, you are doing great girl. Keep it up!

Snap and Toss. We all hold on to clutter and sometimes it's great to declutter our lives. A clean home equals a clean mind set. Most items we keep because of the memories they hold and if you take a picture of it and then toss it, you are decluttering and you keep that memory in the picture you've taken.

Buy a Sandwich for someone or put food in the food bin. Giving a little something to a stranger will give you empowerment and it feels damn good. It is nice to be nice to others, treat others as you would like to be treated and all that.

Netflix and Chill. Whether it is on your own or with a friend, just binge watch some box sets and chill, you are allowed to every now and again.

Veg out, no I don't mean on the sofa. Eat more Veg and fruit, trust me your body will thank you by the end of 2017.

Take a Cheese selfie, we all take selfies and all worry about taking the perfect one. So why not just have fun with it, say cheese and smile and be happy with the first pic.

Share the Love. Send a friend or loved one a good text, saying how much you love them or something that makes you happy to have them in your life. Good vibes all round!

Finally, frame this. We all love a good half naked shot, and I know that Ryan Gosling makes me all warm inside. So take this pic and remember you are Awesome!

KiK E-Cigarette Starter Kit*

As some of you may already be aware I have started to use a vaporiser, in an effort to quit smoking. I haven't tried this type of e-cigarette before and currently use an Eleaf. So I was quite happy to give this a try and my honest opinion on it.

This starter kit is priced at £14.95, which includes the basics. A battery that you can get in 6 colours, USB charger and a Clearomizer. It is recommended that you change the Clearomizer every 4-6 weeks, dependant on your usage, these can be bought for £3.95 in a variety of colours.

I did find that I had to drag a lot more than with my Eleaf, because the vapour strength cannot be varied on this kit. That shouldn't really put you off, because you can get used to it and it's good for those that want to try out a vaporiser in place of cigarettes. I think the price of this kit is fairly reasonable for what you get and again is great for newbies.

I was also sent 3 e-liquids, each retailing at £3.95, which is fairly standard. I received a Tobbaco Blend flavour and Energy Drink flavour at 6mg strength nicotine; as well as a 0% nicotine e-liquid in Bubblegum flavour.

In all honesty I am not at the point of being able to smoke a 0% nicotine e-liquid but did test if for the purpose of this post. it did taste of bubblegum and wasn't too sweet. I will keep ahold of it for when I get to that point and hopefully stop for good.

I hadn't tried a Tobacco Blend flavour before and it was very strange. Very much a mellow tobacco taste, I am sure you could get used to it. The Energy drink flavour tasted exactly like a red bull drink and I found it quite pleasant.

* I received this starter kit from KiK Elotronic Cigarettes for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback, all my views and opinions are my own and have not been influenced in anyway. Please see my Disclaimer for more information.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Starter Kit for Oily Skin

I only discovered Trilogy Rosehip Oil a few years back when my friend Jordan recommend it to me and let me try some of hers. I didn't think it would work for me because I have oily/ combination skin. At the time I was using Bare Minerals Foundation and it worked really well as a foundation primer for the powder. I stopped using it for some reason, and it was only recently that I came across this starter kit, so thought I would start to use it again.

This kit is aimed at those with Oily/ Combination skin, and even thought I do suffer from that, when I use Rosehip Oil my skin doesn't produce more oily or feel more oily. The main reason for oily skin is due to your skin not having enough moisture and therefore over compensating and producing extra sebum.

The Trilogy Reship Oil Antioxidant+ is an all natural oil, that gives you beautiful skin. It is a lightweight oil that soaks into the skin easily, after about 10 mins your skin feels soft and as if you haven't applied the oil at all. Roseapene is a red berry seed oil blend that provides daily antioxidants and intensive moisture nourishment, which replenishes softness an elasticity to the skin.

The added super antioxidants of lycopene from Tomatoes and photosterol from Acai, help fight against premature ageing.

Trilogy Balancing Gel Cleanser is a soap free facial botanical cleanser that doesn't dry out the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft. Extracts of Elderberry purify the skin, whilst Aleo Vera refreshes and the Rosehip oil moisturises. This is the perfect cleanser for Oily/ Combination skin as it re-balances the skin without drying it out, I have found that since using this my skin hasn't been producing as much oil in the T-zone as usual.

Trilogy Balancing Lotion is a lightweight moisturiser that helps boost moisture levels and energise the skin, whilst combating the signs of ageing. Infused with Rosehip Oil and Vitamins A and E, this lotion is perfect for Oily/ Combination skin. It is easily absorbed and works perfectly under any primer, my skin has started to look so much healthier since introducing this into my skin care routine. The only thing I would mention is that you should apply it straight after cleansing and allow it to dry prior to applying anything over the top.

I am so happy I re-purchased the Trilogy Rosehip Oil and got this starter kit, my skin had been getting bit out of control and now it seems to be repairing and looking better than ever.

Gettng Organised for 2017

Last year I didn't keep up to date with my planner and really want to make the most of this years. I have decided to go with a pretty organiser and have even bought some stickers to make it that little bit more special.

The planner I chose is the Ban.Do 2017, "I am Very Busy", with 17 months in it, starting from Aug 2016. Obviously I will only be using from Jan 17 and hope that next year they will have a planner starting from Jan. This particular planner retails for £20.00, but I managed to get mine on EBay for £12.99.

As you can see below, I have started to decorate mine with Washi tape and stickers. This is a weird name isn't it? Washi tape, I was searching for it as Wasbi tape. I love this planner because every so often there are cute little pick me up messages, the one in the below image says "You're fresher than lemonade".

The Stickers I purchased are from Etsy, Wonderland Planner. The stickers in this shop are so pretty and delicate, perfect for newbie journalists or those who have always decorated their planners. I went with some Nutcracker Planner Stickers and New Years Themed stickers.

These stickers are so cute and such the perfect size. The sheets are A5 size, and I went for a matte finish, I think it looks better and it's easier to write on. The only thing that I would like is for there to be an icons sheet, with a holiday icon and payday etc.

At the start of each month the have funky designs with inspirational writing, you also get a couple of plages for notes and a month calendar. Each month has colour coded tabs, for easy access and fun. I have tried to keep with the theme of each month and stick to that kinda colour.

I love the size, it is like having a book with you all the time. The size is prefect for writing, I always find smaller planners hard to write in.

I am going to try and keep this with me all the time and always fill it in.

My Little Box The Takeover

This is a dedicated post about a very special gift I received from Christie for Christmas this year, My Little Box - The Takover.

Part One - The Stationary Box. Such a perfect box for me, god she knows me so well, I love stationary. We have spent many lunch times in Paperchase, good times! This box was jam packed of goodies, with lots of little props which can be used for my flat lays. Some wooden pegs and mini glass jars, filled with gems.

December Lookback

December has been a busy month and I love to have a busy month, because it makes this post seem exciting. When in reality I much prefer to just chill out and watch Netflix with my dog.
