Influenster UK Max Factor VoxBox*

If you haven't heard of Influenster yet, then you really need to check them out. They are a US based platform where members post reviews and comments about products they have tried, not just ones they have received for free. Influenster also offer it's members the chance to try out upcoming products for free in exchange for honest feedback.

Excitingly enough they have now launched in the UK and I was lucky enough to be chosen to be to review the first ever UK VoxBox, which was in collaboration with Max Factor. I was extremely intrigued to see what they were going to send through, however when it arrived I was disappointed.

Radiant Skin Kit from Mens Society*

Shopping for Men can be difficult, especially when there is a lot of crap out there, that isn't worth it's salt. When I first started browsing through Men's Society I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of products. If I had a male to buy for then I am sure I would be able to find something suitable for sure.

Too Faced Haul

I don't think it's any secret that I have a love for Too Faced, especially for their Melted Matte Lipsticks and Eye-shadow collections. When they released the Natural Love collection I couldn't wait to jump on the band wagon, albeit a little late to the party!

The Natural Love Palette is a limited edition collection of 30 lovable matte, satin and shimmer shadows. The collection was created with 13 iconic shades from some of the best selling Natural eye palettes and 17 brand new never seen before shades. The story of Natural Love goes way back to 2009 starting with the original Natural Eye palette.

I have absolutely fallen for this palette, it is so worth the money retailing for £52.00. The colours work seamlessly together, blend so easily and are extremely pigmented. Keeping true to the Too Faced brand. You can create so many looks with this palette, from day to night.

Just look at that collection! Eek!!! Sorry, I am just dribbling over the fact that my Melted Matte collection is growing finally! This is by far the best formula and brand for liquid lipsticks, in my opinion, bearing in mind I am NOT being paid to say this.

I added the new 'Suck It' and 'Wine Not' from the Natural Love collection to my own.  As with the rest of the Melted Matte range I do not find them drying and found they lasted most of the day. Admittedly they didn't seem to last as long as 'Queen B' or 'Cool Girl' but that said it seems to be only the slight inner of the lips that needs touched up.
Again with this range you can layer over the top without the worry that it will feel cakey or flakey and melts over existing product.

These retail for £19.00 each and the new colours are currently only available in the UK at Selfridges!

I also had to repurchase the Lip Insurance Lip Primer, R.R.P £14.00, as the one I purchased last July has now died. Sad times, but that just shows how long it lasts given that I use it pretty much every day! I highly recommend using this prior to applying the Melted Matte Lippies, it really does make a huge difference to the staying power.

I received some freebies in my order too which was pretty cool, especially with the amount of money I spent! I was sent a deluxe sample of the Better Than Sex Mascara and Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer.

I have tried the mascara previously and am not a massive fan, it is just an average mascara to me. I don't find that it is very pigmented or creates much volume however does stay on quite well. The bronzer on the other hand is a new one for me and I absolutely love it! It is one that I will definitely be repurchasing in full size. I'd probably go as far as to say it is better than the Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour palette.

Update - Since writing this I have also purchased the Melted Matte Lipstick in 'Granny Panties' it is a gorgeous deep mauve grey colour. Keep an eye out for a full Melted Matte Review with Lip swatches, as they do look darker on my lips than on my arm.

Always be kind, you never know what personal battle people are fighting.

The New Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Review*

The lovely Lydia from Lydias Hair and Beauty offered me a free blow dry using the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer from John Lewis in Norwich.  She is passionate about the benefits of using the Supersonic and wanted to show me the styling power of it.

So what makes the Supersonic so great?
For one it is super light when it is on, meaning that you wont get arm ache when blow drying. Great for those with lots of hair, maybe one day for me.. The technology transfers the air somehow making it more balanced and air light.

Still Single for Better or Worse???*

"Yes.. I am single, but you'll have to be FUCKING amazing to change that!"

So here I am again, 27 and single again. With my mum getting married this year and my best mate now engaged and planning her wedding, as happy as I am for her, I am feeling like I am a failure. Being left behind, destined to never meet the one. I mean is there even a ONE for us all, or is that something that has been drummed into us all?

As you guys know I had started to see someone a month ago, but yet again that ended in disaster. Things are not always as they seem and it is very complicated. It is so frustrating because he actually lives with my brother and I had started to become close friends with some of the other house mates, but I have heard that some nasty things have been said about me.

"She was the worst person I have ever been with!"

Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation

I am always wanting to try new products, and as much as I love my Double Wear foundation I fancied a change. I follow a few Beauty You-tubers, and have heard great things about the Urban Decay All Nighter.

I had even heard that it is comparable to DW? I have been using it for about a week now and am still undecided.

Wunderbrow Eyebrow Gel Review

I finally took the plunge and decided to treat myself to the Wunderbrow Eyebrow Gel kit, R.R.P £19.95. I have been looking at reviews of this gel for well over 3 months now and they have all been pretty good.

The Wunderbrow is supposed to be a long-wear eyebrow gel from the brand Wunder2. Branded as waterproof, smudge-proof, transfer-proof and meant to last for up to 3 days.

Chewsy All Natural Chewing Gum*

Chewsy Gum is a new brand of chewing gum, that has only been on the market for 2 months. It's a really innovative product, so I was pretty happy to give it a review.

These are fairly pricey, at £1.50 a box with only 10 pieces in each. That said they are all natural made of only 5 ingredients all sourced from trees, completely sugar free, no aspartame, no artificial flavours or sweeteners, no preservatives and defiantly no plastic gum base.
