Shopping for Men can be difficult, especially when there is a lot of crap out there, that isn't worth it's salt. When I first started browsing through Men's Society I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of products. If I had a male to buy for then I am sure I would be able to find something suitable for sure.
Not to fret though, there are some goodies for women too! I managed to find a compact mirror, nail kits and this gorgeous Radiant Skin Kit, R.R.P £30.00. Which came in a cute metal tin and included body oil, cleansing face oil, face oil for after cleansing and travel disposable wash cloths.
The cleansing face oil was a little scary for me to use, due to the fact that I have had a major adult acne breakout! No idea why.. possibly due to my cycle starting up again. Anyway, I did brave it and used this as a pre-cleanser to my usual cleanser. It worked amazingly well to strip away all of my makeup including the wunder brow, which led me to also use it to clean the brush I use to apply the wunder brow with.
The wash cloths removed all residue of oil, leaving my skin soft and clear, however I did continue with my usual cleanser after as I said above only due to my extreme breakout.
The cleanser didn't foam at all, it just seamed to be like applying a light oil. When I cleaned the brush, I did have to cleanse that after with my usual brush cleaner to get the oil out. That said I would never have been able to remove the wunder brow without this cleanser, so props to that!
The radiant body oil is again another light oil, I first used this when I had my undercut re-done and had aggravated skin. I know it is for the body, but hey why not try it on the nape of my neck with a tiny amount of hair.. it worked wonderfully and really soothed my skin without causing any breakouts. It didn't feel overly greasy, just soft which was pretty good, considering my hair was fairly greasy anyway (end of the week hair YUK).
Finally the radiant facial oil is an odd one, it's applied by rolling it on. Initially I thought that would be difficult to get enough product out to cover the whole face, but it was actually fairly easy. This absorbed reasonably quickly and left the skin feeling soft and refreshed, I would only use this in the PM. Simply because I suffer from oily/ combination skin and think that adding this into my morning skincare could create issues to the longevity of my foundation.
All of the Men's Society products are not tested on animals and are all produced in the UK, from fully natural quality ingredients.
Overall I am pretty impressed with this kit and the range on Men's Society, I will certainly be heading over there when it comes to looking for a present for my brother or dad.
