eyewake Unique Formula Collagen Gel Review*

As someone that suffers from serious eye baggage and dark circles that can only be described as a serious case of Panda eyes, I was more than happy to go review the eyewake gel.

One thing I loved about this brand straight off the bat was their campaign and partnership with Women's Aid. For every bottle they sell, they donate a percentage to the charity, a charity that helps women and children in need against Domestic violence and abuse. Something I am very familiar with and take to heart.

Too Faced Mystery Bag 2017

I have always wanted to get my hands on the Too Faced Mystery Bag, but never knew whether it would be worth it, or when it was available. Finally last year I found out when it was online, Cyber Monday and I took the plunge!

The bag costs $39, which roughly works out to £35 with taxes. There was a guaranteed value of $109 worth of product inside, which I would be sceptical about had it not have been all Too Faced products.

The Star Print Shirt, Not Just for Work

I am trying to branch out into fashion/ style blogging, so this is officially my second "fashion" post. Having lost a lot of weight (not something I wanted to do), I have been reluctant to buy new clothes; however I did manage to find some good deals in the January sales. This year I want to change up my style a little and dress more sophisticated, be a little more adult!

Print shirts and bold prints are the "in thing" for 2018 it seems and I am majorly on board. This star print shirt is from Next and although it is probably more an autumn colour I love it.

My Experience of Speed Dating*

After a few months of being single and failed attempts of trying to start something with guys recommended by others, I started to look at other avenues. I'll be honest it took me a while to sign up.

It actually was prompted by one of the guys at work threatening to sign me up himself. Having tried and failed with online dating, being set up and just generally being a hermit, I figured what's the harm.

Making New Friends in Your Late 20's*

This year I plan on getting out of my comfort zone and getting out there. After the Christmas and New Year break, I realised that I am stuck in a rut.

As we get older it is a lot harder to meet new people and make new friends, research shows that at our age the best place to do that is at work. Whilst that might work for some, it doesn't apply to me, I work with mostly older men, very young boys and very few women that you can't really socialise with. I would love to meet another woman in my profession, that I could socialise with, but that is so unlikely.

The Story Behind the Name Romanovs Views

Many people often have no idea where the name of my Blog comes from, and if you too write a Blog then you know what thought and meaning goes into naming it. On that note I thought it would be a good idea to let you all know story and reasoning behind the name.

Firstly I think you all need to understand that I am a bit of a geek and do like my Marvel and DC comics, tv-shows and films. So it would only stand to reason that Romanovs Views would stem from that somewhere along the line, same as how I named my dog after Harley Quinn (Harleen Quinzel).

2017 Christmas Haul

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and relaxing break. I am not thrilled to be back at work, however it is good to back into a routine and in the swing of things again.

Like others it is a shame that we have to state that we are by no means bragging about what we received, just simply sharing and hopefully it will give you guys a look into my little world or an idea for a gift for someone else. Also if you have done a post about what you got for Christmas then please do link it below for me to check it out 😁.

Goodbye 2017 Hello 2018

I'm not going to lie I am happy to see the back of 2017, it hasn't been the worst year for me but it hasn't been the best. Whilst there are others out there who do go through way worse than what we may consider a bad year, it is still considerable to us non the less.

I did achieve a few good things last year, which I have worked very hard towards. I started a new job as a Senior Engineer and I am loving it. Starting a Senior role at the age of 27 was a real win for me, especially being in a male dominated industry. I honestly didn't think it would happen for many more years, so I have been taking every opportunity to show my worth and raise my responsibilities.
